Jukido (The Way of 'Gentle' Flowing Power), is a jujitsu system of self defense derived from the most effective techniques of the oldest warrior methods. It combines the dynamics and techniques of karate, aiki-jitsu, judo and weapons systems, making Jukido one of the most versatile and effective self defense systems in the world.

The main emphasis is on students doing their best, safety in their practice and practical, realistic self defense.

Students will learn flexibility exercises, how to fall safely, throwing techniques, how to escape from grabs and holds and defense against multiple attackers.

As students progress, basic karate techniques and weapons disarming are incorporated. Along with confidence and discipline gained from Jukido, students are taught to show courtesy in and out of the dojo.

Jukido students are trained to react defensively if grabbed or threatened. They know when, and when not to use their self defense skills – that's important in this kind of training.
